Developmental Disorders

Hope can be a fragile emotion when you have a child that has a developmental disorder or a brain-based dysfunction. You know how disruptive life can be.

Father and son.At Rhode Island Integrated Medicine, Dr. Victor M. Pedro and his team take a different approach to the treatment of developmental disorders and brain-based dysfunctions. We use a unique, neurologically based approach to the treatment of learning disabilities, dyslexia, ADD/HD, language and auditory processing problems, movement disorders, Tourette’s syndrome, as well as a wide range of genetic, traumatic and congenital disorders.

Cortical Integration Therapy’s (CIT) comprehensive screening process helps us to accept for treatment only those patients we believe we can help. The goal of treatment is to promote neural plasticity in the areas of the brain that are not working in concert with the rest of the central nervous system.
